About Us

I was researching what to write in a bio for a website.  It started out easy enough with “Your Name.”  My name is Donna Hicks.  :) Then it became more complicated—“Current Role.”  My current role is aspiring author and entrepreneur.  Then “Ultimate Goal.”  My ultimate goal is to do whatever I do to the glory of God.  The name of this company is Dreaming Things. I love that name because I want to do things that are bigger than myself and wilder than my dreams.  This is the beginning.  Lastly, my “Biggest Achievement” which are still all works in progress and things I can’t actually take all the credit for, but am the most proud of—my three daughters—Alexandra, Adrian, and Audrey.  Love those girls!  I’m adding one more category because it is important to me. “I Could Not Have Done This Without Jimmy.”  Catchy title, right?  Thanks to my hubby, Jimmy, for his help and support in this endeavor. He lends his time and talents generously, and that is very noticed and much appreciated.  ;)
